My friend Trevor “Dastardly” Odom and I, Justin “Crazy J” Huiner, are embarking on a once in a lifetime 60 day journey across America. We are starting in Modesto CA with nothing but two long boards, our backpacks filled with supplies, two Greyhound bus passes and our cameras. We will be hitting many stops all over the country, including Vancouver B.C.

We are both 21 years old and very ambitious. We are both long boarders with an avid passion for exploring and do both very well. In fact, I was recently in a long boarding competition for my first time and took 9th out of 60 competitors (all with competition experience) from around the globe.

We are heading out on this adventure because we want to see our Country and what all it has to offer. It is our goal to document everything we do, from the people we meet and talk with, our experiences on the buses, sightseeing and skating the hills and mountains. Our intention is to show how one can travel this great Country with limited funds and resources and utilize public transportation and pushing our boards along the way. We’re hoping that by showing others how easy you can travel without having a car, they will want to experience their adventures in a similar fashion.

Currently, we are in the process of getting the necessities for the two months we’ll be traveling, such as clothes, gear, food, shelter and other supplies. Our hope with this letter is to show you how we may be able to benefit one another. We are looking for sponsorship for this trip. Whether it be a free pair of socks or anything you and your company think will help us on this journey. In return, we would like to promote your product through our blogs and Facebook pages, where we’ll be posting videos and pictures of our adventure along the way. We will let our followers know how supportive you were in our efforts to embark on this journey. We’re also willing to listen to any promotion ideas you might have and help support that in any way we can.
